Regenda Homes project manager picks up top Liverpool business award

One of Regenda Homes project managers has won a top business award. Kevin Short won Employee of the Year in the Livercool Awards 2015. He is one of the leaders behind a successful Community Welbeing Apprentice scheme.

The awards, which are sponsored by Downtown In Business, celebrate the success of staff, entrepreneurs and decision makers who have helped the city's economic growth over the past twelve months.

Although it is an award marking individual achievement, Kevin insists it is a reward for a great team effort which will help to further promote the excellent work of Regenda's Community Wellbeing Apprentices.

"It is phenomenal but this isn't about me it's about the whole project and everybody who is involved in it. When they announced I'd won, my Twitter account went crazy and everybody has been quick to add their praise and congratulations, saying it is well deserved. I'd just like to say thanks for letting me do what I do," he said.

There is understood to have been a landslide vote for Kev in the Employee of the Year category.

Regenda's award-winning Community Wellbeing Apprentices project supports young people in Liverpool who combine work placements and study while also carrying out valuable community work.   Winners of the Livercool Awards 2015
