Fantastic opportunity for Lancashire catering company
We’ve got the kitchen, the equipment, the customers – have you got the skills?
We’re looking for an experienced caterer to manage the kitchen at our 72 apartment Extra Care scheme on Chatsworth Avenue, Fleetwood.

We have around 3,500 homes in Lancashire.

About Lighthouse View
Lighthouse View is an Extra Care scheme in Fleetwood, and is home to 85 residents aged over 55 who receive assistance from a care team, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. They work alongside the Regenda team, providing care and support to our residents, enabling them to live independently.
Lighthouse View was completed in November 2020. It has a salon and therapy room located within the building and benefits from an outdoor gym. It also has a bistro, The Lantern Room, next to the main entrance.
About The Lantern Room
The Lantern Room is available to all of our residents, staff and their visitors. Providing seating for 65 people at any one time, The Lantern Room offers a beautiful, comfortable space for friends and family to come together.
The Lantern Room benefits from a fully equipped commercial kitchen, including:
- A double oven with six burner rings
- Industrial dishwasher, toaster and food mixer
- Commercial microwave
- Chest Freezer
- Two 6ft fridges
- Food warmers and food storage units.
Initially providing hot drinks, snacks and cakes, you’ll go on to make pub style meals, which could include hot pot, soups and (in keeping with our wonderful coastal town) fish and chips. You’ll set the menu in conjunction with our staff and residents, ensuring food is affordable and nutritional.
You’ll have the necessary insurance and health and safety certificates in place and will have experience with preparing food for older people or for people with additional care and support needs.
You’ll primarily provide food and drinks for our residents and staff. However, you’ll be free to use the space to provide catering for customers outside of Lighthouse View.
About the partnership
You’ll pay staffing costs and for food and ingredients. And that’s all for the first 12 months. There won’t be any rent to pay and we’ll cover maintenance costs for the equipment in the kitchen. We can even provide crockery and cutlery if you want us to. In return, you’ll provide affordable food and drink for residents and staff, creating a menu that residents want at a price they can afford.
