Resident Voice Panel

We've created a Resident Voice Panel (RVP) to assist in the delivery of our Resident Involvement Strategy.  The Panel is a part of the Regenda Group Governance structure with its own terms of reference.

The panel’s responsibility is to ensure accountability and delivery of the Charter for Social Housing and the Regenda Residents Charter in accordance with our values.

The panel is made of three Redwing and nine Regenda Homes residents from across North West England. The Executive Director of Customer Services chairs the panel, which is also championed by a Board Member, forming a direct route from the Residents Voice Panel to The Regenda Board.

As well as monitoring Regenda and Redwing’s Tenant Satisfaction Measures, the Resident Voice Panel also monitor performance key performance indicators.

The measures change during the year, to ensure Regenda are reporting on the areas that are relevant to not only internal but external factors.

What do the Resident Voice Panel do?

RVP members will be making an extremely valuable contribution to our work as we rely on our residents to help us support, maintain and improve the products and services we provide:

  • Hold Regenda and Redwing to account for the delivery of our Resident Voice Strategy
  • Share resident's views with our board and committees to help prioritise and shape services
  • Monitor the performance of our complaints service and our Resident Charter
  • Act as a 'critical friend', reviewing policies and strategies that directly impact service delivery
  • Provide feedback to ensure that all services are delivered in accordance with Regenda Group's Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Strategy
  • Identify problems and provide feedback to help Regenda Homes and Redwing meet the expectations of our residents and regulators

Senior managers will be responsible for reporting customer feedback performance, regulatory compliance, and performance against the Together with Tenants and Regenda Resident Charter. The RVP reviews areas for scrutiny and monitors the outcomes and delivery of recommendations.

I am chaplain in Rochdale and ordained into the FREE Methodist Church. Before becoming a minister I completed a degree in nursing then specialised in children's nursing before moving into specialist palliative care.

As a chaplain I offer and provide pastoral and spiritual support to Rochdale Town Centre & Council, the Police Station and Rochdale  Armed Forces Associations (Lancashirre Fusiliers, Parachute Regiment, Royal British Legion, Veterans Breakfast Club) and work as sessional chaplain in the local prison.

I enjoy working with people from a cross section of life. To relax, I enjoy reading, card making and watching TV. I have been a resident of Regenda for thirteen years. In my time as a resident I have enjoyed supporting Regenda whenever I have been able.
