You cannot report emergencies online. You must call us as soon as possible to report an urgent situation – the phone line is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
The out of hours line is for emergencies and urgent repairs only.
Please note, the emergency out of hours team cannot provide information or updates about anything that’s already been reported to us.

What is an emergency repair?
An emergency repair is an issue that could result in immediate risk of harm. We will complete emergency works in 24 hours.
This can include:
- A gas leak (you must also contact National Grid immediately on 0800 111 999)
- A broken boiler
- Loss of water
- An significant leak
- Damp and mould that affects your ability to breathe
- Electricals in contact with water

Use Web Chat for general enquiries and non-urgent repairs.
It's a fast and simple way to message us and it is available on our website from Monday - Friday, 9.30am - 3.30pm. We aim to respond to messages as quickly as possible between these hours.
Look for the 'Chat with us' button on the bottom right of your screen.

Emails are monitored during office hours - Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm .
Our current email response time is 5 working days and we aim to respond to all messages as quickly as possible.

We understand that sometimes you just need to speak to someone so please do give us a call.
