Why do I need home contents insurance?
As your landlord, we cover the building insurance for your home. This means we cover the cost of repairing damage to the structure of your property caused things like explosions, storms, floods or burst pipes.
But you are responsible for insuring your personal belongings.
Home contents insurance isn’t required by law, but it’s a good idea. It can protect your things from:
- Fire
- Theft
- Water damage
- Other household risks
This gives you peace of mind if something goes wrong.
