What is a stock condition survey?

A stock condition survey is a visual inspection of the inside and outside of your home; it takes around 20 minutes. The surveyor collects information on the condition of your home, assessing the age and condition of these major elements, such as kitchen, bathroom, windows and doors.

Why are we carrying out this survey?

The data gathered from the surveys will be used to plan for repairs and future investment programmes. The Regenda Group ensure we invest and maintain our homes to the highest standard and undertaking a stock condition survey allows us to collate the information to enable us to do this effectively.

Who will be carrying out the survey?

Michael Dyson Associates Limited has been appointed to undertake stock condition surveys and their surveyors will have an ID badge and letter of authority from the Regenda Group.

If you have received a letter regarding a stock condition survey please book an appointment by contacting Michael Dyson Associates directly:

Hours of operation are Monday-Friday* between 8:30am - 5pm.
*Saturday appointments can be arranged.

What happens after the survey?

On completion of the contract, Michael Dyson Associates deliver all the collated stock condition information to us, which is reviewed and uploaded to our asset management system. They do not provide us with written reports for each property so, unfortunately, we’re unable to provide any specific reports to our customers.

Please note: While Michael Dyson Associates will provide us with recommended re-inspection dates for elements of your home, based on recommended lifecycles, these dates are used to support financial planning only and are not a confirmed year of re-inspection or replacement dates.
