Young parent support
We offer supported housing for young parents in Chorley, Lancashire. This helps you build the skills you need to live independently.
Our homes include:
- On-site support and a phone service for out-of-hours help
- CCTV for safety
- A shared lounge and large garden.
Who can apply?
You may be able to live here if you:
- Are aged 16 to 25
- Are pregnant or have a child
- Are a lone parent
- Are homeless or at risk of losing your home
- Need help managing a tenancy
- Want to live independently.
How we support you:
We’ll work with you to create a personal support plan based on your needs and goals. This could include help with:
- Keeping your tenancy
- Making friends and getting along with neighbours
- Budgeting, managing money and claiming benefits
- Becoming more independent
- Getting support from other services like midwives, health visitors and children’s centres
- Referrals to other housing or specialist support services
You can usually stay for up to two years, depending on your situation.
