Fleetwood 10 year vision

The 10 year vision for Fleetwood is a place-based tool to facilitate the transformation of people and place.

Developed by the regeneration team and local partners, the vision is beginning to unlock sites for new development, attract significant external funding and support residents on their journey towards wealth and health.

It has five broad themes of activity – key ingredients in any place – through which health, wellbeing, employment and skills opportunities can be realised. It is particularly relevant for health and Police approaches to place-based working.

Testimonials

“It’s been a pleasure to work with the Regeneration Team.  We’ve learned a great deal from their innovative approach to place-making in Fleetwood.  The approach has led them to secure significant funding from the More Positive Together programme and know doubt much more from other sources in the future”
