Limehurst wellbeing champions

Regenda Homes have are suppresidents on the Limehurst Village estate in Oldham who have volunteered to put something back into the community and help local residents to make positive change.

The volunteers will undertake training as gardening volunteers, community volunteers, and health and wellbeing volunteers, Along with Regenda Homes staff, the volunteers will be holding regular drop in sessions for residents at the St Chads Training room on a monthly basis to provide guidance, advice and sign posting regarding health and wellbeing issues. 

The Limehurst Wellbeing champions project is a part of a 10 year neighbourhood regeneration plan in Limehurst being led by Regenda Homes on behalf its residents.  The people and place-based approach will see Limehurst becoming more resilient, with an active and empowered community that have the opportunity to transform their lives.
