The Regenda Group to play in Business Fives charity tournament for Centre 56

A number of colleagues from across The Regenda Group will be taking part in the Business Fives charity five-a-side football tournament to raise funds for Centre 56 on Tuesday 10 March.

We will be entering two teams in the tournament, with players from M&Y Maintenance and Construction, The Learning Foundry and Regenda Homes, as part of our "Do Good, Feel Good" calendar of health, well-being and charitable events.

Sean Rothwell, team captain and People Services Manager, said: “The most important thing is that everybody has fun. Sport is a great way to keep fit both physically and mentally, so if we can help improve that for everybody who works for The Regenda Group and raise as much money as possible for a good cause, then all the better!”

Centre 56, which is also part of The Regenda Group, offers childcare for families who have suffered, or are at risk of suffering, domestic abuse.

The players have set up a JustGiving page to raise funds in support of the centre with an ambitious target of £250 - but they need YOUR help to reach that goal.

All funds raised will go directly to Centre 56 and will help make a difference to the lives of children and families who use the service.

In the event that either of our all-star teams manages to win the tournament, then 10% of the tournament's total revenue would also be awarded to Centre 56 as well.

So fingers crossed one of the teams can go on to win the trophy!
