Attendance Allowance

Attendance Allowance is a benefit for people over state pension age who need help with care because of a health condition or disability.

It is tax-free and does not depend on your income or savings.

If you get Attendance Allowance, you may also:

  • qualify for extra support on other benefits, like Housing Benefit, Universal Credit and Pension Credit
