Three star Regenda climb the table at Best Companies awards

The Regenda Group has been named 7th in the top 100 not-for-profit organisations to work for, at the prestigious Sunday Times Best Companies Awards 2018.

The Group achieved its best ranking since first entering the awards five years ago, and was awarded a three star accreditation, the highest that Best Companies offers.

Over 80% of staff at The Regenda Group were surveyed for the annual list, which looks at key workplace issues, including leadership, engagement and personal growth.

In the past 12 months, the Group has launched a number of internal programmes to improve employee health and wellbeing as part of its Do Good, Feel Good programme.

Staff are also encouraged to attend bite size training workshops, where in-house experts share knowledge and help support personal development.

Ian Warren, Director of People’s Services, said: “We are delighted to achieve our highest ever position in the annual Sunday Times Best Companies Awards.

“As an organisation, we are focused on building a culture that empowers, engages and develops our people.

“Our people are key to the success of our ambitious growth plans. We will now look at how we can improve our standing in the awards even further next year.”

Traditionally a property based company, The Regenda Group has recently made a number of acquisitions to support its vision for sustainable regeneration, through providing opportunities for people to achieve their economic and social wellbeing.

The Regenda Group is made up of Regenda Homes, Redwing Living, M&Y Maintenance and Construction, McDonald Property Rental, Petrus, Alder Training, Positive Footprints and Centre 56.
