A big conversation deserves a big thank you.
A big conversation deserves a big thank you. Between June and September, residents volunteered over 1,000 hours to t ake part in our Big Conversation.
Over four months, our team hosted over 30 in-person and online get-togethers for our residents.
The Big Conversation is Regenda’s campaign to put your views into the centre of our future plans . Every three years, Regenda creates a Group Corporate Plan. This is the plan we follow to deliver on our purpose, to ‘regenerate places and create opportunities for people.’
As part of The Big Conversation, we asked residents to give us feedback in lots of areas, like :
-
how we should spend our money
-
set our targets
-
improve our communities.
How many people got involved?
-
622 residents filled in our online survey
-
Over 300 residents joined in at events like coffee mornings, neighbourhood chats, and scheme visits
-
In total, nearly 1,000 voices helped us understand what matters most to you.
What you told us
-
You value speed and quality of repairs
-
You asked for more investment in current homes, like kitchens and bathrooms
-
Most staff are polite and respectful
-
Our service promises are fair.
Positive impacts so far
-
We now know repairs and communication are top priorities for you
-
Your feedback is guiding where we spend our money - with a strong focus on improving existing homes
-
We’ve learned more about how to make our services easier to use, especially for those who prefer face‑to‑face contact.
What to look out for
We know The Big Conversation is just the start, and we're still working on where we can do better. This includes:
-
Continuing to work on our Repairs Transformation project, making sure we're getting things right the first time you contact us
-
Supporting more community events and being more visible to you and all residents.
A final thank you from us.
We couldn’t have done this without you. Thank you for sharing your time, ideas, and experiences. Your feedback will help us build stronger communities and better homes.
Enjoyed giving your feedback as part of The Big Conversation?
There are more ways you can get involved all year round, like:
-
Filling in our surveys
-
Coming to a consultation
-
Sitting on one of our Resident Panels.
If you'd like to know more, we'd love to hear from you.
What happens next?
What you told us will help us to write our next Group Corporate Plan so that our services in the next three years are shaped by you and what you want and need from us as your landlord.
We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who came to an event, who asked a question and gave their feedback.
If you’d like to be a part of how we make decisions at Regenda, you can keep up to date with opportunities coming up on the get involved page on our website, here (this link will open in a new tab.)
