- Salford City Council (Salford Assist) (this link will open in a new window): Offers "resettlement grants" for essential furniture and white goods to help residents remain in or return to the community.
- Stockport Council (Crisis Support) (this link will open in a new window): Residents can apply for help with household items like cookers, fridges, and washing machines via their support funds.
- Trafford Council (Trafford Assist) (this link will open in a new window): Supports residents in short-term financial difficulty with essential white goods; note that applications for items like fridge-freezers are limited to once every 24 months.

- Recycle for Greater Manchester (this link will open in a new window): The Renew shops stock a wide variety of homeware, garden furniture, toys, sports equipment, books and more. Items have been donated by residents and cleaned and repaired before being handpicked by staff for the shops in Eccles, Oldham and Altrincham.

Furniture & White Goods Support in Lancashire
- Essential Household Goods Support Scheme (Selnet/Under One Roof) (this link will open in a new window): This is the primary county-wide scheme run by Selnet. It works with a network of furniture reuse organisations to provide items like fridges, freezers, cookers, and beds to those in crisis.
- Lancashire County Council Reuse 360 Hub (this link will open in a new window): A dedicated project that takes donated furniture from recycling centres and re-homes it through social care teams to families in need.
- Preston City Council Household Support Fund (this link will open in a new window): Under its HSF Round 7 (active until 31 March 2026), Preston residents can apply for white goods or furniture, though awards are generally limited to one item per household.
