Our regulatory judgement

The Regulator of Social Housing (RSH) is the independent body that checks whether housing associations are providing good services, managing their finances responsibly and meeting the standards expected of social landlords.

The inspection covers three areas, and landlords get a grading for each one:

  • Governance
  • Viability
  • Consumer

There are four gradings that can be given for each area, with one being the highest and four being the lowest.

The Regulatory of Social Housing gave Regenda Homes a judgement on our standards on 27th May 2026:

C1 for Consumer Standards - the highest consumer grading available. This recognises the quality of our homes and services, and the outcomes we deliver for customers. It covers Neighbourhood and Community, Safety & Quality, Tenancy, and Transparency, Influence and Accountability.

G1 for Governance - showing that we are well run, make effective decisions and meet our legal and regulatory responsibilities. This is an upgrade from our previous rating of G2.

V2 for Financial Viability - showing that we manage our finances responsibly and have the resources needed to deliver our plans.

These ratings reflect our focus on providing safe, high-quality homes, listening to customers, using feedback to improve services and ensuring Regenda remains a strong and sustainable organisation for the future.
