Cleveleys

The Knowsley Crescent, Hornsea Close, The Runriggs, Sandringham Avenue and Patten Place scheme inspections were completed on Monday 6th September 2025. The following issues were identified and actions taken.

55-65 Hodder Avenue, Fencing needs replacing and a fire has taken place on communal grassed area and burnt the grass. Housing officer to chase up when the fencing will be replaced and housing officer to send letter to residents regarding the fire.
17-23 Leven Avenue, communal front and back door in poor condition.  Housing officer has previously raised inspection, going to chase up the outcome of this inspection. 
27-33 Leven Avenue, Communal door has a crack in the plastic. Housing officer has raised a repair for the plastic to be replaced with Customer service centre.
5-11 Douglas Place, belongings left in the communal area. Housing officer sent letter to residents and follow this up. 

 

The West View walkabout was completed Wednesday 4th December 2024.
The following issues were identified, and actions taken.

10 untidy or overgrown gardens. Housing officer has spoken with the residents for items to be removed and gardens to be maintained.
 Potholes in the road on Grange Road. Potholes do not meet the size criteria to report to Lancashire County Council, Housing officer will monitor.
Large potholes in the road on Derwent Avenue and road in poor condition. Housing officer has reported this to Lancashire County Council.
Contaminated wheelie bins at a property on Golbourne Close. Housing officer has reported this to Wyre council. 
3 Communal blocks with faulty communal doors Jobs raised with customer service centre to be fixed.
Large potholes in the Road on Eamont Place and road in poor condition. Housing officer has reported to Lancashire County Council. 
Sofa fly tipped behind the properties on Martindale Avenue. Housing officer completed a door knock, found the owner of the sofa which has now been removed.
Fly tipping on the grassed area on Crake Avenue. Housing officer reported to M&Y to remove the fly tipping.
The pavements on Troutbeck Avenue are very uneven and in poor condition  Housing officer has reported this to Lancashire County council.

Items fly tipped on the parking area on Brock Avenue. Housing officer completed door knock in the local area and owner of the belongings located. Items removed by owner. Remaining items removed by environmental warden. 
A property with a blocked drain in the front garden on Northway. Housing officer reported this to M&Y to be unblocked.
