Fleetwood Regeneration
We’re working to make Fleetwood a better place to live. Over the last few years, we’ve spent more than £40 million to improve homes and local services. This is part of our 10-year plan to support people and communities in the area.
Warmer Homes
In 2018, we started a five-year project to make over 600 homes warmer and more energy-efficient. We:
-
Fitted new windows, doors and roofs
-
Added insulation to outside walls
-
Helped residents save money on heating and energy bills
Local Housing Office
Our housing office has moved from Lord Street to Fleetwood Hospital. This new space brings together different organisations that work to support people in Fleetwood.
New Homes at Lighthouse View
In 2020, we opened Lighthouse View on Chatsworth Avenue. It has 72 flats for people aged 55 and over. The building includes:
-
Round-the-clock care and support
-
A hair salon and therapy room
-
Services that local people can also use
West View Plans
In 2022, we shared plans to build 102 new homes in West View. Because of changes in the economy, we’ve had to pause the work. We’re still committed to building these homes and will look at the plans again in 2024.
