Val delighted with new Millfield home
Val Gaskell prides herself on being a home-maker and says she is delighted to be settling into her first Regenda Homes property.
After moving from one private rented house to another over the past seven years, Val became one of the first to move into our new development of apartments for affordable rent at Millfields Court in St Helens.
Her one bedroom apartment already looks comfortable and welcoming.
"It's perfect. This move is for life, this is forever," said Val who shares the apartment with her partner, local taxi driver Ritchie Davies.
Millfields Court is a development of 10 one and two bedroom apartments which are conveniently located above newly built shops in Eccleston, an area of St Helens which is undergoing significant investment.
The properties, which are ideal for residents like Val who are looking to downsize, were built in conjunction with Jones Homes and St Helens Council.
“It didn’t take me long to get the place looking how I wanted it and it really does feels like home,” added Val.
