Neighbourhood Inspection Feedback

You Said, We Did

Based on recent estate inspections across Cheshire, here are some of the improvements we’ve made following resident feedback:

You said: Several communal areas and external boundaries needed repair.

We did: Reported damaged bin store doors, fences, gates and communal fencing to M&Y for repair across William Barker Court, Oakfield Road and De Trafford Mews.

You said: Flytipping was becoming a recurring issue on several schemes.

We did: Sent letters to residents, instructed caretakers to remove waste, and obtained quotes for clearance at Park Mill, Eaton Mews, Cross Lane and Priesty Fields.

You said: Safety concerns and maintenance issues needed addressing.

We did: Reported loose roof tiles, insecure cupboard locks, missing fence panels, broken communal door latches, and blocked gutters to M&Y or Environmental Teams for action. You said: Safety concerns like loose paving, trip hazards and overgrown areas needed urgent action.

We did: Raised emergency repairs, arranged grounds maintenance, and escalated structural issues (e.g., loose roofing, communal flooring hazards) to our Asset team for followup.
