Call For Evidence - Share your experiences with the Housing Ombudsman

The Housing Ombudsman is exploring common issues in housing maintenance, and this Call to Evidence will help achieve better outcomes and services for customers and landlords.

The survey asks questions about your experience of repairs and maintenance operatives in your home or other buildings owned and operated by your landlord.

The types of services covered by the survey include:

  • Repairs requests

  • Major work to your home

  • Grounds maintenance

  • Gas servicing

The results will feed into the Housing Ombudsman’s next Spotlight report, called Repairing Trust, which will explore the complex relationship between landlords, contractors, and residents.

The survey results and report will support landlords to prepare for Awaab’s Law which will set required timeframes for repairs and maintenance.

The Call For Evidence survey will be open for 12 weeks on the Housing Ombudsman’s website – closing on Friday 25 October 2024.

We encourage Regenda Homes residents to take part and share their thoughts on repair s and maintenance. These include being kept informed of changes to appointment times and the progress of repairs and maintenance requests – in addition to the standard of work completed.
