Fleet Fest 2026 - a free family day out for local residents
Residents are invited to experience a wonderful world of light and colour and help shape the future of Fleetwood at Marine Hall Gardens on Saturday 19 September.
Organised by the Fleetwood Pride in Place Board, the free family event will combine a unique immersive art experience with opportunities for local people to share views on how £20 million of Pride in Place funding should be invested in the town.
At the heart of Fleet Fest will be a spectacular Luminarium from internationally renowned Architects of Air - a huge walk-in sculpture that will bring an immersive sensory experience.
Visitors can wander through a labyrinth of winding pathways and soaring domes filled with changing light and colour, creating a space that inspires curiosity, reflection and wonder.
Designed for people of all ages, the Luminarium is fully accessible and welcomes wheelchair users and members of the SEND community.
Alongside the Luminarium, visitors will be able to enjoy a range of free family attractions, food vendors, craft stalls and activities featuring local businesses and organisations from across Fleetwood.
Fleet Fest is about more than a day of entertainment. The event will also give residents an opportunity to help shape the future of Fleetwood through the town's £20 million Pride in Place investment programme.
Throughout the day, visitors will be able to share ideas and priorities that could influence future investment in areas including Fleetwood town centre, accessibility, education, opportunities for young people and families, and support for the wider community.
The Pride in Place programme represents a significant opportunity for Fleetwood, and local people are being encouraged to play an active role in helping shape plans for the years ahead.

Fleet Fest takes place at Marine Hall Gardens, Fleetwood, on Saturday 19 September. Entry and all attractions are free.
