Grove Street, Liverpool
We are currently carrying out an assessment of our properties on Grove Street, Liverpool, which includes flats on Grove Street, Grove Way, Grovelands, Groveside and Falkner Street, to determine how best to provide homes in the area.
As a not-for-profit social housing provider, we routinely review all of our housing stock to ensure it is fit for modern living and is cost effective for residents in terms of fuel bills and running costs.
Our residents are our priority, and we have written to those affected to let them know that we are undertaking this process and it is in its very early stages. We have also informed them that one of the options we are looking into is demolishing these buildings and replacing them with high quality family homes, including homes for social rent.
If the decision is made to demolish the buildings, all social housing residents will be guaranteed the right to return to the new properties on this development.
We understand that some residents will be concerned, and our local neighbourhood team will support residents throughout the entire process.
The Regenda Group is a not-for-profit organisation, and any surpluses go back into providing social housing for people in housing need.
