Making our website easier for everyone
We want our website to be easy for everyone to use.
Some people find reading online hard. Others might speak English as a second language. Some people may need larger text or help focusing on the screen. That’s why we’ve added a new tool called ReachDeck.
Why we got ReachDeck
We know that not everyone reads in the same way. Some of our residents told us they find websites confusing or hard to read. We want to make sure everyone can find the information they need - quickly and easily.
ReachDeck helps make our website clearer, simpler, and more welcoming for everyone.
What is Reachdeck?
ReachDeck is a toolbar that helps you:
- Listen to the page – it reads the words out loud
- Translate the page – into different languages
- Make the text bigger or clearer – so it’s easier to read
- Change how the screen looks – to help you focus
You don’t need to download anything. Just click the grey person icon at the top right of our website to get started.
