Regenda staff get into gear for Comic Relief

Regenda Comic Relief cycle team

Four keen cyclists are set to take on a gruelling test of endurance by taking part in a 12 hour, 120 mile trip across the North West in aid of Comic Relief.

On Friday 24 March, Chris Cheng, Jess Woodcock, Ian Warren and Chris Standish will set off from The Regenda Group office on Lord Street, Fleetwood, at 2am. The team will make their way to Commutation Plaza, Liverpool, via the organisation’s offices in Oldham and St Helens.

To help raise cash, the teams at each office will be coordinating additional fundraising activities for when the cyclists arrive.

Chris Cheng, Welfare Reform Officer at The Regenda Group, said: “It will be a real test of our fitness and I am not too keen on the early start, but it is all good fun and in aid of a fantastic charity.

“Overall we are hoping to raise £1,000 to help transform the lives of people across the UK and Africa.”

The team can be sponsored via the Red Nose Day website.
