Regenda's cheeky shower scene image shortlisted for top PR award

An image of a couple showering together has been shortlisted for a top PR award.

Regenda Homes residents Sue and Wayne Hubbard posed for the photo during a six month study which encouraged families in Oldham to reduce their use of water, gas and electricity.

Partly by showering together, Mr and Mrs Hubbard reduced their household water bill by a staggering 82%.

The Regenda Group's communications team commissioned the cheeky photograph and used it to promote the energy-saving campaign in the media. The image appeared in the local, regional and national press and generated lots of interest online. As a direct result of the publicity, Sue and Wayne Hubbard also went on to appear on live radio and satellite television.

The image has now been shortlisted in the category Best Use of Photography or Design in the CIPR PRide Awards 2015.
