Regenda Homes supports a fabulous family event in Birkenhead
A family fun day supported by Regenda Homes has been voted a huge success. For the first time the event at King’s Church in Birkenhead was thrown open to the wider Wirral community.
The Victoria Fields family fun day usually attracts between 80 and 100 local residents. This year, because the colourful event was open to a wider audience, the visitors just kept coming and coming.
Neighbourhood officer, Carol Mallion, said: “In the past it has just been for our Regenda Homes residents but this year, oh my goodness, there must have been between 250 and 300 there. It was very much about the community, helping to bring it together, but it was also an opportunity to showcase what’s going on in the church which we have always had an excellent relationship with. It was such a fantastic day!"
