Westview week of wellbeing

The residents of Westview in Fleetwood had fun keeping fit and healthy during the summer holidays.

Westview Community Association and Regenda Homes, with support from agencies working across the town, delivered a Week of Wellbeing for local families.

With funding from Fleetwood Town Football Trust and support from agencies including the Young People’s Service, UR Potential, YMCA, Homestart and many others, residents enjoyed a variety of activities such as fruit kebab making and riding on a pedal powered smoothie maker.

Tracy MacPhee, Regenda Homes’ regeneration officer, said: “The aim of the week was to promote a total family approach to wellbeing, by engaging local partners with the community to increase access and engagement to the host of services which are available.”

Cat Smith, MP for Lancaster and Fleetwood, visited Westview to add her support to the activities and events.
