Merseyside team on hand to help residents protect their valuables

As part of our commitment to make communities safer, our Merseyside Neighbourhood team were on hand to help residents protect their valuables from theft.

On a sunny day in Everton, Regenda staff teamed up with Merseyside Police and Making Waves to hand out DNA kits to residents in Whitehaven Road. The kits work by allowing people to place an undetectable ultra-violet code on any of their belongings, which can then be scanned by police and returned to its owner.

The team were also on hand in our newly branded trailer to hand out refreshments and give advice to residents, with Merseyside Police reporting that the DNA kits have helped to reduce burglaries by 85%.
