Two couples who are expecting their first babies have become the first to move into a new housing development built to help keep local families together. A strict lettings policy ensured only applicants living in surrounding rural parishes were considered for the properties.

High-rise flats have made way for new bungalows as part of an ambitious vision of regeneration in Wirral. The once towering Hillside Court in Tranmere has been transformed into a small development of contemporary two bedroom homes for affordable rent, helping to kickstart the wider redevelopment of the area.

New housing boosts Regenda Homes regeneration vision in Oldham

Local planners have unanimously approved the building of 135 new homes and £15m worth of investment at Limehurst village in Oldham.
The homes will be constructed as part of a 10 year regeneration programme being delivered by Regenda Homes in partnership with Oldham Council.
