Teenagers who have been taking part in unique apprenticeship scheme have been impressing the Lord Mayor of Liverpool with their personal experiences of the project. They explained to Cllr Roz Gladden how the award-winning project had given them a confidence boost and offered life-changing opportunities.

A fun day supported by Regenda Homes has been voted a huge success. For the first time the event at King’s Church in Birkenhead welcomed the wider Wirral community.

M&Y Maintenance and Construction is joining forces with St Helens Chamber to offer new training and employment opportunities to local young people. The initiative will enable the company to nurture its own appprentices.

Staff at St Helens-based M&Y Maintenance and Construction are celebrating a milestone in the company’s history. From humble beginnings 35 years ago, M&Y has expanded into a successful business, become part of the Regenda Group and now employs around 240 staff.  

Two teenagers from an award-winning community apprenticeship project are preparing to spend a week crewing a magnificent tall ship. Seventeen year-old Warren White and 18 year-old Daniel Loughran, who are part of Regenda Homes’ Community Wellbeing Apprenticeship scheme, will sail from Liverpool to Milford Haven in the annual Apprentice Ship Cup.
