Regenda's specialist repairs and maintenance company M&Y has a fresh new look and ambitious expansion plans.

Thirty five years ago it was a small, family-run business. Today the growing St Helens-based company employs around 250 staff and expects annual turnover to top £17m.     

Regenda Homes joined forces with five other North West housing associations to provide valuable business advice to local residents.

More than 20 people who attended the two day Pop Up Business School event at Birkenhead in Wirral said they felt an increase in confidence and the ability to progress their business ideas further.

The Regenda Group has produced a style guide to help staff improve the way they communicate with residents. The Style Playbook has been accredited by the Plain Language Commission.

By using it, all staff will be encouraged to write with greater clarity and consistency, making more use of plain language in letters, emails and publications.  

The Regenda Group's sister company, Redwing Living, is sponsoring Liveable Liverpool seminars: apartment living in a European city.
Liveable Liverpool is a series of three seminars exploring the design and build of apartment blocks.

Staff from the Regenda Group’s repairs and maintenance company, M&Y, are giving up their spare time to work on a huge BBC DIY SOS project in Manchester.

Around 25 staff are working with TV celebrity Nick Knowles and his team refurbishing 62 properties for ex service personnel who either have disabilities or are homeless.
