Launching the Regenda Community Fund: Supporting great ideas in our communities
We’re excited to launch the Regenda Community Fund - a new £15,000 pot of funding to support community groups making a real difference across our neighbourhoods.
The fund is open from 1st April to 1st June 2026, and we want to hear from groups that have ideas to help people living in our homes and communities.
Why we created the fund
Last summer, during The Big Conversation, residents told us they want to see more community activities and support in the places they live.
Our Resident Voice Panel agreed. They suggested we create a pot of funding that local groups can apply for.
The Regenda Community Fund is our way of putting this into action. The money will go directly towards projects that support Regenda customers and make our communities better places to live.
Who can apply?
We’re looking for applications from established community groups and organisations that support local people. This includes:
- Constituted community groups
- Charities or social enterprises
- Community Interest Companies (CICs)
- Tenant and Resident Associations.
Your group must work in one of our communities across Merseyside, Greater Manchester, Cheshire or Lancashire.
What kind of projects can be funded?
Groups can apply for up to £1,000 to run projects that support at least one of these themes:
- Physical wellbeing
- Mental health
- Social connection
- Financial wellbeing
- Work and skills.
If your idea helps bring people together, improves wellbeing, or supports the community in a positive way, we’d love to hear from you.
All eligible applications will be reviewed by members of our Resident Voice Panel. Hear what the Resident Voice Panel have to say about the fund:
Making a positive difference together
We know that local groups are at the heart of strong communities. This fund is designed to help you continue the brilliant work you’re already doing - or to get a new idea off the ground.
We can’t wait to see the ideas you bring forward.
