Regenda Community Fund to support 13 organisations across the North West

13 community groups, charities and CIC have won £1,000 to help them make a difference in their communities.

Organisations are in Merseyside, Greater Manchester and Lancashire, already supporting projects that bring people together and improve wellbeing.

The new Community Fund was created in April this year. We invited charities, community groups and resident-led organisations to apply for grants of up to £1,000 to support initiatives in Regenda neighbourhoods.

Successful projects include:

  • Family Action, providing affordable food parcels and grocery drop off service in Oldham
  • Fleetwood Town Community Trust, supporting children and families during summer holidays in Lancashire
  • Know Knife Crime CIC, offering assemblies, talks and presentations to young people across Merseyside.

This funding will help these groups keep up their work, reach more people, and create stronger, safer and more connected communities.

Denise Allen, Customer Voice Manager at The Regenda Group said:

“We launched the Community Fund in response to feedback from our customers, who told us they wanted to see us make a bigger impact in their communities.

It’s fantastic to see so many organisations stepping forward with new ideas or enthusiasm to expand existing projects that will make a real difference to people’s lives. These projects are all about bringing communities together and supporting wellbeing, and we’re proud to play a part in making them happen.”

The Community Fund was shaped with input from Regenda’s Resident Voice Panel, ensuring that funding is directed towards projects that matter most to local people. We can't wait to see all the groups grow and make an amazing impact where they are. Watch this space!
