Regenda Homes gives the gift of pyjamas
Inspired by the tradition of new pyjamas for children on Christmas Eve, Pyjama Party Liverpool teamed up with a number of partners, including Regenda Homes, to collect donations.
Our office at Commutation Plaza was opened as a drop off point for both staff and members of the public. We also worked closely with our partners at City of Liverpool FC to organise a collection at a home fixture in December.
In total, we collected 180 pyjamas on behalf of the charity.
Karen Downing, Pyjama Party Founder, said: “We are overwhelmed by the generosity of everybody who has donated.
“Both myself and Ash have been really busy over the last few days making sure all of the deliveries to shelters, hostels and refuges went out on time.
“We would like to thank everyone who backed our campaign and we hope that we have brought a bit of festive cheer to those less fortunate.”
The charity, set up by mother and daughter Karen and Ash Downing, collected 2,860 pairs of pyjamas.
The donations are now being sent out to service providers across the region, just in time for Christmas Eve.
