Regenda Homes helps residents enjoy a safe bonfire night

As part of our commitment to making communities safer, we funded a stay safe bus which was used by the Wirral Safe Hub to transport youths causing nuisance or annoyance back to their home addresses.

The bus operated over two nights and proved a vital tactical addition for Merseyside Police in dispersing and deterring groups.

In the lead up to Bonfire night, we also worked in partnership with Merseyside Fire and Rescue to raise awareness of fire safety amongst our residents.

Internally, we used our own communication platforms to share key messages with residents, utilising the call centre and our social media channels.

Overall, Merseyside Police reported a 32% reduction in anti-social behaviour, attending 392 incidents compared to 579 in 2016.
