Regenda Homes hits the top six

Regenda Homes has been named in 6th place in the top 100 not-for-profit organisations to work for, at the prestigious Sunday Times Best Companies Awards 2019.

We retained our three-star accreditation, the highest that Best Companies offers, which recognises ‘extraordinary’ levels of staff engagement. We also moved up one place on the list, improving upon last year where we came 7th.

A huge 85% of our staff responded to the survey for the annual list, which looks at key workplace issues, including leadership, engagement and personal growth.

In the past 12 months, we have launched a range of initiatives to improve staff wellbeing, including a partnership with mental health charity, Chasing the Stigma. We have made a commitment to enrolling all of its staff on the charity’s mental health awareness course, which is currently underway.

The organisation also launched the Regenda People Package, bringing together the wide range of programmes, initiatives and benefits available to its staff. The package aims to support us attract and retain the very best talent and to create an environment that encourages learning, development and personal growth, while also ensuring staff are rewarded for their efforts.

Ian Warren, Director of People Services, said: “We are delighted to achieve 6th position in the annual Sunday Times Best Companies Awards.

“As an organisation, we are focused on creating the best possible working environment for our staff and giving them the tools to develop their career."

Jonathan Austin, CEO & Founder of Best Companies, said “I would like to congratulate Regenda Homes on their achievement. Best Companies have been producing the Accreditation standard since 2006 to acknowledge excellence in the workplace. Organisations like Regenda Homes have continued to focus on their employees and have been rewarded with an engaged workforce who tell us that this is a best company to work for.”
