Regenda named as one of the best companies to work for

Regenda Homes, part of The Regenda Group, has been named one of the best places to work in the UK. That’s the verdict of this year’s Best Companies survey, who has named Regenda a three star organization – the highest accreditation available.

The Sunday Times Best Companies survey is an annual independent evaluation of organisations that recognizes excellence in employee engagement. They believe that staff who are fully engaged at work feel happier and more secure which, in turn, makes them more productive.

Group Chief Executive, Michael Birkett, said: “In what has been an incredibly tough year, I am delighted that our staff still feel that Regenda is a great place to work. During the first lockdown, we adapted quickly to ensure our staff were supported to deliver vital services to our customers. We prioritized employee wellbeing through a range of interventions, including training, counselling and through our in house Mental Health First Aiders.

"We also worked hard to maintain our culture both virtually and face to face, actively encouraging each other to be open about any support they needed and identifying changes we could make in the business to keep each other safe and happy during this unprecedented time. This result is testament to the work and dedication of all our staff across the Group.”

The highest scoring organisations in each of Best Companies’ workplace categories will earn a place on the prestigious Best Companies to Work For lists, with placings being announced at a virtual awards ceremony in May.

In 2020, Regenda Homes ranked 14th in the 100 Best Not-for-profit Organisations to Work For list and 6th in the 25 Best Housing Associations to Work For list.
