Regenda Homes arranges your buildings insurance as part of your service charge.

If you are a shared ownership customer or a leaseholder, Regenda Homes arranges your buildings insurance as part of your service charge.

The contract is procured via a tender process every 5 years to ensure we continue to provide value for money to our customers.

The FCA has recently confirmed Leasehold Buildings Insurance Reforms, which come into effect in December 2023. We have a packaged insurance policy that is already in line with these reforms and tailored to the needs of our customers.

The policy Regenda Homes has in place:

  • Provides leaseholders with a fully comprehensive property owners insurance policy which includes   additional policy extensions as standard.

  • Ensures that all excesses are fair value and are lower than most standard home insurance policies and in line with insurance market standards.

  • All premiums are reviewed to make sure we are provided with a fair allocation between residential and commercial units.

  • Our broker and Regenda do not take any commission for our property owners policy.

Your buildings insurance is already in line with the FCA’s new measures to support leaseholders in the multi-occupancy buildings insurance market.
