Roofing upgrade completed at Elizabeth Court
A big roofing improvement project at Elizabeth Court in Poulton-le-Fylde is complete!
This includes six new roofs on all blocks. They will give long-term protection for the building and improve energy efficiency for customers.
The project involved replacing the roofs for 24 flats.
During our asset surveys, we spotted that the roofs at Elizabeth Court needed to be replaced. And new roofs were fitted using modern materials and breathable membrane technology. This will improve weather protection, reduce drafts and keep the homes warmer.
At the start of the project, we thought it would take around 16 weeks. We are really happy that all six new roofs were fitted in eight weeks.
This was because of warm, dry weather and careful planning by our delivery team.
Around 30 customers living at Elizabeth Court will benefit from the improvements. Like reliable weather protection for decades to come.
Customers and staff have shared positive feedback about the work. Lots of customers have told us they like the look of the new roof.
Our Scheme Manager, Jane also praised the professionalism of the roofing team throughout the project.
