The Regenda Group builds new homes in a town older than the Pyramids

The apartment blocks, a mix of one and two bedroom properties, are set in the highly desirable village of Greasby, Wirral.

Recent research has found the origins of Greasby to be around 6,000 years older than Stonehenge and the Pyramids, making it the earliest dated settlement in Western Britain – and one of the oldest in the country.

Wirral Council are set to unveil new boundary signs celebrating this historical fact.

Gareth Wyatt, Project Manager at the Regenda Group, said: “We are delighted with the apartments which are finished to a very high standard.

“Residents have arrived to pick up their keys and everyone is very happy with their new home.

“The Regenda Group is passionate about making affordable housing available across the North West and it is always nice when there is something quirky about the area, such as the age of this beautiful village.”

All of the apartments at Kinloss Road have now been let through Wirral Council’s Property Pool Plus service.

The unveiling of one of the five signs will be at 11am on Thursday, September 28, outside the Premier Inn on Greasby Road, Greasby, Wirral CH49 2PP.
