Transforming communities through music

We’re excited to share that Regenda Homes and Future Yard have launched a brand new neighbourhood partnership that will bring even more opportunities to our communities.
Future Yard is a brilliant community music venue in the heart of Birkenhead. They showcase artists from across the UK, support local talent and run hands‑on learning programmes for children, young people and adults.

What this partnership means for you
This partnership is all about creating strong, supportive and inclusive neighbourhoods, which is a key part of our Neighbourhood Strategy.

As part of the partnership residents will be able to continue to access free tickets to live music events at Future Yard, take part in skills and learning programmes(Sound Check and Mosh Tots) and share your views through the “What Does Music Mean to You?” project, about how to make music and culture more accessible for everyone.

Future Yard already has a strong connection with our Wirral communities as many residents have enjoyed free entry to shows and events through their Neighbourhood Ticket Scheme.
Why we're doing this

We know that feeling connected to your community makes a real difference. Taking part in music, arts or local activities can:

  • Improve wellbeing
  • Build confidence
  • Help people make new friends
  • Create a strong sense of belonging

This partnership helps us support all these things.

Stephanie Harrison, Executive Director - Operations and Customer Service at The Regenda Group, said:  " We’re  proud to be partnering with Future Yard to create meaningful opportunities for our residents and communities in Merseyside and beyond.

Our latest collaboration reflects a shared belief in the power of community, creativity, and connection .  It  builds on our commitment to delivering positive outcomes for our residents, working with partners like Future Yard to support our residents and communities with access to opportunities  that enrich lives and strengthen neighbourhood pride.

Christopher Torpey, Director of Audiences at Future Yard, said: “As an anchor institution in Birkenhead, Future Yard wants to ensure that people in the community where we are based benefit directly from what we do. Utilising  Regenda s  reach across the Wirral, we can encourage more local people to access culture and learning.”

So what happens next?

We’ll keep you posted on:

  • New events and activities
  • How to get free tickets
  • Opportunities to get involved in learning programmes
  • Ways to share your views and help shape future projects

We’ll be sharing all upcoming opportunities on our website and socials. If you live in one of our Wirral neighbourhoods, keep an eye out!
